Blancpain has launched a new boutique version of the Villeret Extraplate watch. This timepiece features a gold case and a green dial, which is the first in the Villeret series.
Blancpain’s hometown of Villeret (Villeret) village named this name as the brand’s most classic series. These models adhere to the tradition, highlight the foundation of the watch factory and reflect its main aesthetic choices. The purity of its lines and the slenderness of the double-step case express the essence of timepieces with timeless elegance.
The Blancpain Villeret Extraplate Premium Edition reveals these codes in a new way. For the first time, Blancpain’s traditional sage-shaped leaf-shaped hands swept across the green dial. This gleaming new color has a sunburst appearance and is paired with a 40 mm diameter gold case with a Blancpain movement 1151. At first glance, the latter looks simple, but the complex construction of the mechanism stems from a balancing action that involves achieving the most pleasing slenderness while ensuring precision and reliability.
Blancpain’s experience and expertise in designing and producing all movements in-house enable it to provide high-performance movements with a thickness of only 3.25 mm. In terms of user-friendliness, the watch factory certainly made no compromises: the hour and minute hands are equipped with a large central seconds and date window, while the automatic movement has a four-day power reserve. All of this is in an 8.7 mm thick shell.
The brand new Blancpain Villeret Extraplate is a delicate watch. The front face expresses the sophistication of this timepiece through the dial finish and hand-applied hour markers. The elegant decoration shines on the bridge frame decorated with the Côtes de Genève pattern and the pendulum with the honeycomb pattern hanging on the back. This exclusive watch comes with a brown frosted alligator strap.
